Ankita Chachra joins the Child in the City World Conference keynote line-up

Urban designer Ankita Chachra is the third and final keynote speaker for the Child in the City World Conference in Vienna. She will share child-focused strategies and design guidance to inspire leaders, inform practitioners, and empower communities to consider the city through the eyes of a child.

Ankita Chachra is an urban designer who strongly believes that cities should serve children, adults and elderly in ways that allow them to meaningfully interact with each other. Her current work at NACTO’s Global Designing Cities Initiative involves applying tools and strategies from the Global Street Design Guide to address street and public space design challenges, which cities around the world are currently facing.

The Child in the City World Conference is taking place from September 24-26 in the beautiful city of Vienna. It is one of the leading conferences on child-friendly policies and research. More than 400 international youth professionals, policy makers and planners will meet during the conference. Also taking to the stage alongside Ankita will be two other keynote speakers: Tim Gill, an independent scholar and writer, and Ali Mahlodji, the European Youth Ambassador. Would you like to join the 9th Child in the City World Conference 24-26 September 2018 and meet over 400 international children’s colleagues? Register here to reserve your seat for the conference.
