Call for participants: new series on affordability in cities

In my ongoing quest to understand how and why families choose to live in cities, I am launching a new series and, I need your help.

The research

My Affordable City will profile families living in big urban centres to learn more about their living situation, how they budget for city life, and what cost-saving tips they can share with the rest of us. In the next few months, I am hoping to profile five or more families living in cities. Participation would not involve disclosing your income or financial details.

Questions would include:

What are your largest monthly expenses?

Are you satisfied with your current living situation?

What lifestyle changes have you made to afford city life?

What are your favourite low budget activities in the city?

What are your money-saving tips for living in the city?

Please email me if you are interested in participating. This is a great opportunity for urban families to share their stories about affordability in the city.
