Learning from the best practice of your professional colleagues and applying it to your particular area of expertise can have such a positive influence on the life of a child.

So why not take this chance to learn about the work of your peers at the forthcoming Child in the City World Conference 2023?

We are excited about seeing you at our flagship conference from 20-22 November in Brussels, where our Scientific Programme Committee has put together a fascinating and thought-provoking programme. Through its five key themes, our aim is to enable all you child professionals identify the challenges which are relevant to the work that you do, wherever you are in the world. What are the problems that need solving? And how do we all work together to find solutions?

Whatever your field, this conference can benefit you and, crucially, the children whose lives you are dedicated to improving. So we are delighted to announce that our full programme is now complete, and we have lined up over 90 experts, presentations, panel discussions and workshops.

In the next few weeks we will also be publishing on the Child in the City website a series of ‘Q&A’ features with some of our scheduled speakers, and they will be sharing some insights from the work they do. Below are just some of the faces that will become familiar to you in Brussels, where you will get a know a little bit more about their individual roles and career history, along with their goals for the Brussels conference. You can then hopefully take away some of the lessons gleaned from their work and apply it in your own working environments.

You can also contribute to the conference via social media – send us us your thoughts via our X (formerly Twitter) account @Childinthecity1 using the hashtag #citcbrussels2023
