Brand new website for Dublin 2020 World Conference

A dedicated new website has been set up for this year’s 10th Child in the City World Conference in Dublin.

It brings together all of the key details for the conference, Making Connections, being held from 15-17 September. By visiting the website – www.childinthecity.org/2020-conference/ – you can explore all of the conference’s seven central themes. They are:

Connecting green and play; Connecting generations; Connecting health and play; Connecting children’s mobility and sustainable futures; Connecting urban parenting to urban planning; Connecting immigrant families to social communities; and finally an Open Topic

There is also a Call for Papers, giving you the opportunity to share your knowledge and ideas at the conference. You still have time to submit your papers but don’t delay, as the closing date is 28 FEBRUARY. Click here to go directly to the submissions section of the website.

Share knowledge and ideas

The programme section of the website outlines the work done by the Child in the City Foundation’s Scientific Programme Committee. The committee comprises president Lia Karsten, plus Irene Quintáns, Sven De Visscher, Professor Carlo Fabian and Froukje Hajer.

There is also all the practical information you need for getting to the conference venue, Dublin Castle, links to our partner organisations, Ireland’s Department of Children and Youth Affairs and Dublin City Council, FAQs, news and key contact details.

Once again, the closing date for submitting your paper is 28 FEBRUARY.
