The Child in the City World Conference programme is now live

The programme for the Child in the City World Conference 2018 in Vienna is complete. More than 100 speakers will present their expertise and latest research on urban development, children and media, mobility, equality and diversity. 

Over the three-day event, the conference offers a full programme that consists of plenary sessions with renowned keynote speakers, interactive parallel sessions and several field trips.

This year, the 9th edition of Child in the City World Conference is taking place from September 24-26 in the beautiful city hall of Vienna. The conference is a key opportunity for children’s professionals, city planners, geographers and policy makers to share knowledge, good practice and research findings from the various disciplines that are important to the shared aim of creating child-friendly cities. The following themes will be explored and discussed; Children’s rights in urban development and regeneration, Children and young people and media, Equality and diversity in the child-friendly city and Mobility and access to the child-friendly city.
