During the two-day seminar, delegates have the opportunity to attend several field trips to projects exemplifying the theme throughout the city of Leeds.
The field trips will take place on Thursday 21 November from 14.00 – 16.30 hrs.
Delegates can choose one of these six field trips to attend.

1. Getaway Girls
Getaway Girls empowers girls and young women aged 11 – 25 to build up confidence, develop new skills and take positive risks in an environment which offers cooperation and support.

2. Catch
CATCH are a charity based Inner East Leeds, in an area that has high percentages of poverty, overcrowding and migration. They deliver a youth provision and volunteering opportunities for people aged 11 and up in a modern and safe youth space.

3. Kidz Klub
Kidz Klub Leeds provides fun and safe activities that help children discover positive aspirations for themselves and their communities.  Kidz Klub is about being part of communities and meeting people where they are at.

4. Leeds Rhinos Foundation
Leeds Rhinos Foundation deliver projects in the heart of the community by harnessing the power of sport to make a lasting, positive impact on individuals’ lives.

5. Parklands Primary School
Parklands are an inclusive school, actively seek to remove the barriers to learning and participation that can hinder or exclude individual children, or groups of children.

6. Trinity Shopping Centre
Trinity is Leeds’ premier shopping centre in the heart of the city. It is owned and managed by Landsec, a Child Friendly Leeds ambassador who have contributed to a range of projects to improve the lives of children in Leeds.
